Youth Group

The Youth Group, which is run jointly with St Francis, meets on the 3rd Sunday evening of the month at St Francis. Young people in Year 6 and upwards (aged 11 plus) are welcome to join.

Monthly meetings start at 6.30pm with Bible-based activities and discussion.  Following this there are activities and games in the church hall from about 7.30 to 9.00pm. There are also occasional trips, such as ten-pin bowling, swimming and games at the park.

The aim is for the young people to come and relax with friends and also to grow in faith and fellowship.  Group members get involved in Church services, by leading intercessions or reading, and they also put together a Christmas presentation to share at the main service on the Sunday before Christmas. 

The young people currently use their musical talents in a band which plays at occasional services.  More instruments are always welcomed
